Courses and sport

Sport and physical education is an integral part of studying at SPŠ SE. We emphasize the quality of teaching, and therefore every year we announce two ski courses for second years abroad and two sports and tourist courses for third years on the banks of the Lipno dam.

We are also involved in the programme adaptation courses for the first years and every year we organize sporting events for the whole school - Christmas Streetball Tournament, Strongman School and All Sports Day. For performance athletes we provide support to manage sports and studies at the same time.

It will be made available again school gym for the pupils of our school, always on Thursdays 15:15 - 16:15

It will also be possible to take place at this time preparation for university entrance exams with a focus on TV.

Visiting will always be possible after by prior arrangement in the TV room (112) with the gym instructors, who will then supervise the gym and weight room.

Students are required to follow the school and gym rules!

For classes: 3.EM and 3.ER

Place of residence: Nová Pec - Summer camp Jezero

Transportation: by train GW Train Regio from ČB or by own transport

Anyone travelling independently or with their parents should notify the school of this by 19 June 2026 using the form available for download on the school’s website in the Documents section.

Start of the course: on Monday 7 September 2026 at 9.45 am at České Budějovice railway station (students making their own way to the course venue should arrive at 12.30 pm)

Completion of the course: on Friday 11 September 2026 at the railway station in České Budějovice at 3.45 pm (students making their own way to the course venue should arrive at 12.30 pm)

Price of the course: 2800,- CZK - accommodation in log cabins, full board, two snacks + drinking regime, boat rental, fare

Takeaway:

trek/mountain bike (you can rent a quality bike on site for 250,-/day), glue kit + spare tube and pump + lubrication, helmet (can be rented at school), goggles, SLEEPY BIRD, sleeping clothes, clothes and shoes for a day trip, swimwear, water shoes, toiletries, personal medication, insurance card, documents, board games (cards, board games, etc.), backpack, raincoat, towel, slippers, pocket money for trips.

Recommended: cycling clothes, especially shorts

You must bring: parents' affidavit or proof of bike adjustment by the service !!!!

Program:

Cycling, hiking and water tourism in the area of Lake Lipno. Getting to know your physical abilities and orientation in nature. Sports and ball games. The course programme will be adapted according to the weather. The students will be familiarized with the OSH and behaviour during the course and on the roads before the start of the course.

Payment via the school cashier: Please ensure payment is received by 19 June 2026 at the latest!

For classes: for the second year of secondary school SE (in 2025/2026)

Deadline: january - march 2026

Place of residence: Aprica Italy - ski resort with wide, almost empty and groomed slopes within walking distance from the hotel (approx. 200m). 3* hotel with double and quadruple rooms and half board.

Transportation: by bus from the school there and back

Start of the course: on Sunday evening in front of the school building

Completion of the course: on Saturday in the early morning hours in front of the school building

 

Price of the course: up to 12.000,- CZK  + pocket money 20€ (small snacks) + 5€ refundable deposit for ski pass

The price includes round trip transportation, half board + drinks, 5-day ski pass, accommodation in Hotel Italia 3* for 4 nights

Takeaway: Ski or snowboard equipment, helmet and goggles mandatory (snowboarders must wear spine protector, skiers recommended) Ski clothes, slippers for the hotel, personal belongings, toiletries and medicines (some medicines for viral diseases) Count on cold weather. A doctor will be present at the course!

Bring: parents' affidavit or proof of ski adjustment by the ski service !!!!

TRAVEL INSURANCE (ACCIDENT + LIABILITY) in Italy mandatory on downhill tracks.

Each participant is obliged to take out travel insurance, including liability for damages caused by his/her behaviour !!!

Complete ski equipment including helmet and goggles can be rented from a friendly rental shop.

Rental price for the whole set for the duration of the course 1.100,-

 

Program:
Ski training in three teams in the ski resort Aprica. Training adapted to the performance of the teams - Beginner to Expert. Ski and snowboard training. The course program will be adapted according to the weather. Students will be familiarized with the safety and behavior during the course and on the slopes before the start of the course.

 

Payment via the school cashier: binding deposit 2.000,- will be collected until the end of May 2025, the next deposit 4.000,- will be selected by the end of September.
