Volleyball match of the Czech Cup (27. 2. 2026)
On 27 February 2026, we as a school participated in the first ever „school match“ in volleyball, organized by the Czech Volleyball Federation on the occasion of the Czech Cup for men and women.
The event was hosted by the Jihostroj České Budějovice club. Together with the 1.EM class we arrived to the Czech Budejovice Všesportovní hall, where we were waiting not only for top Czech volleyball, but also a rich accompanying program. The students could, for example, test the speed of their serve, engage in fan activities with mascots or enjoy other fun competitions prepared by the organizers.
The whole event was very successful and a great sporting experience for all participants. We believe that opportunities like this to see professional sport live can inspire young people and bring new fans of volleyball - the sport under the high net - to South Bohemia.
