Also this year there was within the Erasmus Mobility+ programme a long-term work placement of our graduates, this time in Barcelona, Spain. The students worked for three months in technical companies according to their field of study, giving them the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained throughout their studies, while expanding their professional portfolio.
Students had to first write a CV and a motivation letter, on the basis of which they were selected for the internship. After successfully passing the final exam, the selected students, Jakub Čermák and Martin Felenda, left for a three-month internship. The students completed their internship at the SEAT development centre near Martorell.
In addition to their work duties, the students also practiced their English language skills. This great experience abroad brought with it many positives. One of them is the confirmation of the work placement in the Europass of the students, who will be able to put it on their professional CV. In addition, thanks to the fact that the school management managed to obtain funding for this internship from the Erasmus Mobility+ programme, the students had their stay paid for.

From 2-15 November 2025, ten fourth year students participated in an Erasmus+ Mobility traineeship in Dublin, Ireland. The group was accompanied by Ing. Bc. Lukáš Franta, Ph.D.
Students were placed in Irish companies in the fields of engineering, electrical engineering, IT, automation and programming, where they were involved in the day-to-day running of the workplace. They gained valuable practical experience, practised their professional English and experienced the working environment abroad. They received very positive feedback from their mentors, especially for their responsibility, technical skills, independence and active approach to work.
The mobility also included a sightseeing programme - a guided tour of Dublin's historic centre and a trip to the seaside town of Howth, where students walked part of the Howth Cliff Walk.
The foreign internship was a significant benefit for the participants not only professionally, but also in terms of language skills and personal development. The mobility thus fully met the objectives of the Erasmus+ programme and confirmed the importance of linking school teaching with practice in an international environment.
