The project is implemented with the project partner Shipcon.eu in Limassol, Cyprus, and will include three activities. The first planned activity within the Erasmus programme. Pro in Vocational Education will take place for a duration of 92 days and will involve two pupils. The second planned activity in vocational training will take place in two runs of 14 days. Each of these mobilities is intended for 13 pupils and one teaching supervisor. The project will enable the pupils to test their theoretical knowledge and skills in a foreign language environment. The third planned activity is job shadowing of our teachers in a foreign school.
The short-term mobilities were postponed due to the covid-19 pandemic. The first event was a one-week mobility of two of our teachers at a secondary vocational school in Portugal in April 2022. The second mobility took place in two fortnightly dates in Portuguese companies in the vicinity of Barcelos. A total of 26 pupils and one teacher participated in these trips (June 2021 and April 2022). The third one is a long-term mobility of our two ErasmusPro graduates for 95 days in companies in Slovenia (June-September 2022). Thanks to the project, the pupils have the opportunity to test their theoretical knowledge and skills in practice in the environment of foreign companies.
Barcelos, Portugal (17 - 30 April 2022)

From 17 to 30 April 2022, our 13 students took part in a work placement with employers in the vicinity of Barcelos, Portugal, as part of the Erasmus Mobility+ programme. This gave third year students a unique opportunity to put their existing knowledge and skills directly into practice and learn about Portuguese culture and history.
Barcelos is not a completely new place for our school, as another group of our students was here last year on a similar Erasmus work placement. We firmly believe that this year's stay was equally enjoyable. What was new, however, was the participation of two of our IT teachers, who were actively involved for a week in one of the secondary vocational schools in Barcelos, where they exchanged experiences with their colleagues in the framework of the so-called shadowing.
Barcelos, Portugal (6 - 19 June 2021)
In June, 14 third year students from all 4 classes departed from Prague airport. With a transfer in Amsterdam, we arrived in Porto and then took a bus to our campus in a city as big as České Budějovice, Barcelos.Our students went through a selection process with the school administration and class teachers. The evaluation parameters were previous grades, behaviour and English.
