Technical primary school on wheels in Štěkeň

On Tuesday 3 November 2026, the ‘Technical Primary School on Wheels’ project set off on its furthest trip to date, this time to Štěkeň Primary School. As part of a programme focused on career choices, our teachers introduced pupils in Years 8 and 9 to the world of technical subjects through a variety of hands-on activities.

During the programme, the pupils had a go at plastic welding, metalworking on a machine brought in for the occasion, and working with a soldering iron. Under the guidance of our teachers, Mr Lavička and Mr Rákos, they also made their own glowing key rings, which they were very pleased with. This gave them the chance to experience first-hand some of the activities that students in technical fields encounter.
