One of the main activities was work on electrical equipment, specifically the production of a portable LED flashlight under the guidance of a vocational teacher Mr. Petr Rákos. Pupils went through the whole process from basic wiring to the final assembly of the product. They gained a practical idea of how simple electrical circuits work and at the same time realised the importance of precision and care when working with electrical engineering.
The second part of the programme took place at the mini lathe, where the pupils, under the guidance of the vocational teacher Mgr. Ivan Lavička, the teacher of the mini lathe. For many of them it was their first experience with metalworking, which aroused not only their interest but also their respect for technical skills.
The first deputy mayor of Trhové Sviny, Mrs. Mgr. Eva Špergerová, and also the director of the primary school Mgr. Jiří Pavel. Their visit underlined the importance of practically oriented education as well as the support of technical development of pupils.
The mobile workshop trip brought not only new knowledge but also motivation to further explore technical fields. A morning full of practical activities was a valuable experience for all participants, which is difficult to replace by regular teaching.
