Teachers themselves have the opportunity to nominate their students for this competition, which evaluates the best students in two age categories and in a number of different fields (culture, humanities, arts, technology). The entire survey is organised by the House of Children and Youth in České Budějovice under the auspices of the South Bohemian Region and the City of České Budějovice.

The culmination of the whole survey is a gala evening, where awards are presented to the most successful pupils, who have been selected by an expert committee (always composed of experts in the field) on the basis of their achievements in school and especially in extracurricular activities.

Our teachers nominated a total of 5 pupils, of course in the technical category. In this category there were 15 nominations in total for the whole region. Based on the decision of the expert committee, three of our pupils took part in the award ceremony. Miroslav Sojka (3.EA) took the 3rd place, Matěj Kopeček (3.EA) took the 2nd place and Denis Majrich (also from 3.EA class) was the winner. The award was presented to them by the Deputy Mayor of České Budějovice, Mr. JUDr. Ing. Tomáš Bouzek.

Our students thus continued the tradition from previous years, when one of our nominated students always took one of the first three places.
