T-Profi: festive meeting of the EGE competition team with the management of both schools and the South Bohemian Chamber of Commerce (21 June 2024)
On 21 June 2024, the participants of the T-Profi competition met with the staff of EGE, spol. s r.o., the South Bohemian Chamber of Commerce and representatives of both schools at the premises of the Secondary School of Economics in Dukelská Street. The South Bohemian EGE team won the 2nd place at the 8th Republican Final, which took place in Prague from 17 to 18 June 2024.
The whole team participated in the joint meeting, i.e. the pupils of SPŠ SE Dukelská 13, ZŠ Dukelská 11, their teachers Hana Holá, DiS., and Ing. Lubomír Krejsa and also the team captain Ing. Jan Srbený from EGE, spol. s r. o.
At the beginning the deputy director of our school Mgr. Václav Chochol welcomed everyone, thanked the students and pupils for their exemplary representation of their schools and for their willingness to devote their free time to prepare for this competition. Then he handed the floor to the principal of Dukelská 11 Primary School, Mgr. Zdeněk Hnilička, who also thanked the whole team for their performance. Subsequently, in a similar vein, others present at this festive meeting also spoke. Director of JHK, Ing. Luděk Keist, in addition to thanking the pupils and students for their exemplary representation of the region, also presented them with a voucher for a meeting with an expert in the field of education of their choice.
Finally, the management of both schools highly appreciated the good cooperation between the two school institutes and presented a plan for the next years, when the teaching in higher grades at the Dukelská Primary School will be directly expanded with the teaching of electrical engineering with the support of the SE Secondary School.
