At this time of year, students and teachers in many schools dress up in festive clothes and turn their everyday school lives into a purely classy affair for a while. This year, however, the date fell during a period when only some students came to school for practical classes and when others had to stay at home and study at a distance. We therefore moved this event to a distance, online space as well. And that's how the Suit-up Day online challenge was born.
Some students (3.EB) managed to arrange before the school closed for theoretical lessons and came in a festive already the previous Friday. Others (4.EA) again made arrangements and chose festive attire to come for Tuesday's practical classes. On 13 October, some teachers and non-teaching staff also joined in, thus spending an otherwise ordinary Tuesday in festive attire. A large number of male and female students accepted the online challenge. They dressed up in festive clothes at home and wrote encouraging messages to their classmates. As part of the event, the Czech language teachers were photographed in their home environment and also wrote encouraging messages for their pupils.
It must be added that these are very valuable pictures that deserve great admiration. The students did not hesitate to devote their time to selecting suitable clothing, creating a message and then styling the photo. Each took the photo in his or her own way, but mostly with a common purpose - to encourage other classmates in this difficult time.
Thank you.
