The whole project is held under the auspices and with the support of the Ministry of Education, Mental Health Centres, regional governors' offices and professional organisations. In České Budějovice, participants watched a total of 17 student presentations. There were also inputs from experts. The event was divided into 4 blocks. Each session was followed by a discussion moderated by experts.
Our student Martin Felenda was the second to speak in the first panel and presented his own perspective on the problems of the LGBTQ+ community, which takes into account not only the theoretical knowledge he has gained, but also his own experiences of his peers and friends. He addressed the issues of stigma, stress and fear, as well as the possible causes of some of the views of the LGBTQ+ community. He concluded his presentation by outlining possible solutions and necessary measures that could help to significantly improve the position of this community in society.
The whole conference was very beneficial. It gave the participants and discussants the opportunity to speak and express their opinions and observations on the many pros and cons of today's modern times.
