Štěpán presented not only his final-year project but also a broader topic related to indoor drone flight. In his presentation, he addressed the challenges posed by the movement of drones indoors, particularly navigation issues in situations where neither a GPS signal nor other commonly used navigation systems are available.
His presentation also built on our school’s collaboration with the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia. It is precisely this link between secondary technical education and the university environment that offers students the opportunity to develop their own projects, consult on specialist topics and gain experience beyond the scope of standard lessons.
Project Think science! aims to show young people that science is not just theory, but also a space for creativity, discovery and solving real-world problems. The conference gives active students the opportunity to present their own work, share experiences and inspire others.
We would like to thank Štěpán for representing the school so well and wish him every success in his future career.
