The tests this year were a test, but in the following years they will be written regularly. The tests were written by pupils in grades 1-3. The tasks were created by the teachers of the subjects in accordance with the outcomes of the curriculum and the tests followed the topics of the year (ČJL and AJ) in addition to general knowledge. In mathematics, comparative tests were carried out in both the first and second semesters.
In Czech language and literature, the tests corresponded to the didactic test for the matriculation, and the tests showed that pupils do not know how to work with this type of assignment sufficiently. It was also found that pupils have the greatest difficulty in working with texts, i.e. comparing texts.
In English language, some classes showed differences in groups, the best was class 2.EA, the worst was class 2.EB, 3EB, 2.SA.
In mathematics, there was an abysmal difference between the average in the first and second semesters in some grades (see grade 3), probably because the test in the second semester did not affect the final grade.
Unfortunately, most pupils show little motivation to compare themselves, to show their skills and knowledge across the subjects.
In the last week of teaching, our school held comparative tests in the general matriculation subjects - Czech language and literature, English language and mathematics.
