This is according to data published by Cermat in the interactive report on the results of the school-leaving examination. When filtering by the South Bohemian Region, secondary vocational schools and the technical secondary vocational school subject group, our school ranks among the most successful schools in the region, not only in the overall assessment of the common part of the school-leaving examination, but also in the individual subjects assessed.
In the overall results for the common section of the school-leaving examination, SPŠ SE achieved the best result among technical secondary schools in the South Bohemian Region. Of the 99 students registered, 97 sat the exams; 2 had not completed their fourth year and 1 failed. Compared with the overall regional result for technical secondary schools, where the pass rate reached 85.3%, this is a very significantly above-average result.

Our sixth-formers performed very well in Czech. A total of 97 students sat the Czech language assessment test, and all of them passed. The pass rate was 98%, and there were no failures. At the same time, the school achieved an average score of 73.5 %, which, according to the data shown, was the best result among technical secondary schools in the South Bohemian Region. The average for technical secondary schools in the region was 65.5 %.

Mathematics also went very well. Sixty-six of our students sat the maths test, 65 of whom passed. The pass rate was 97.1%, and the failure rate was just 1.5%. The school’s average score was 67.9 %, the best result among the technical secondary schools shown in the region. By way of comparison, the regional average for technical secondary schools in mathematics was 56.7 % and the pass rate was 83.3 %.

Our school also maintained its position among the best in English. Thirty-one students sat the test and all passed. The average score was 90.1 %, which was the highest result recorded among technical secondary schools in the South Bohemian Region. The regional average for technical secondary schools was 84.4 %.

The results confirm that the technical education provided at SPŠ SE has long been closely linked to high-quality preparation for the common part of the school-leaving examination. The students’ success is the result of their hard work, diligent preparation and the systematic support provided by teachers across all subjects.
A big thank you goes to all the final-year students for their dedication and to the teaching staff for their daily efforts, which have been reflected in these results. The fact that SPŠ SE ranks among the most successful technical schools in the South Bohemian Region is not only a cause for celebration for the school, but also a commitment to continue providing high-quality preparation for students’ further studies, work placements and professional lives.
