Testing does not apply to vaccinated pupils (14 days after fully completed vaccination) and pupils who have had covid-19 (the protection period is valid for 180 days after the first positive test). Testing will always take place at the beginning of the first class period (0th/1st period) in the respective class. If you are to be tested on the 0th period and arrive later, please come to the school office (Mrs. Chaloun will arrange testing). If you are to be tested in 1st period and arrive later, or arrive at school on a different day, please report to the schoolyard in the former driving school room (Mrs. Krištofová is in charge of testing).
Students who are to be tested go straight to their classroom when they arrive at school (they will go to the cloakroom after testing). Pupils must wear a respirator/mask until a negative test result is confirmed (except when taking a nasal sample).
In the case of a positive test, the pupil goes home (a pupil of legal age; a pupil who is not of legal age but has parental consent to go home). Underage pupils who do not have parental consent to go home on their own wait for their parents to arrive in the isolation room.
Confirmatory PCR test
If a student tests positive for an antigen, the result should be verified by a confirmatory PCR test as soon as possible. For this reason, the South Bohemian hospitals have set aside Monday morning (22 and 29 November) and Tuesday morning (23 and 30 November) for rapid PCR tests. In the event of a positive antigen test, legal guardians must first contact the GP for children and adolescents and request an electronic application form. Only then can the pupil attend for a PCR test or book an appointment. Those who have been in contact with the pupil will first wait for the result of the test before booking an appointment for a PCR test if the test is positive.
