The competition has three regional rounds, which take place in Gbelany (Slovakia), Vyškov and Prague. Our school sent a three-member team to Prague (consisting of Radim Barták, Matěj Kopeček and Denis Majrich). The jousting was traditionally very spectacular both in terms of professionalism and hospitality.
The first was a competition in programming a linear actuator supplemented by several pneumatic cylinders. In this category, our students took 1st place, even in all three regional rounds.
Another competition included several tasks in the field of automation and pneumatic technology, including a knowledge test. Points were awarded for each task and as time passed our hopes grew. The result was the highest number of points and therefore 1st place in the Prague regional round.
Overall, our students took a nice 4th place. Considering that 75 teams from 45 schools participated in the competition, we consider our placement a great success.
Thank you to the above mentioned 3.EA students for representing our school!
