The first meeting of the student parliament in the 2026/2027 academic year

The student council comprises representatives from all classes (1–2 representatives from each class).

The following matters were discussed at the first meeting: approval of the Rules of Procedure of the Student Parliament of the Secondary Technical School of Electronics in České Budějovice, the election of the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Parliament, the approval of the Rules for the Use of Computer Room No. 206 by students, and the Rules for the Use of Room No. 504 for the needs of female students at the school. An agreement was also reached on the dates and times of the Parliament’s meetings for this academic year.

Twenty-three students attended the meeting and voted unanimously in favour of the above-mentioned proposals. An electoral committee was elected to ensure a secret ballot for the election of the chair and vice-chair. Class representatives were given ballot papers on which they were to tick their preferred candidate. Ben Bauer from class 4.S was elected chairperson of the parliament by a majority of votes, and Richard Valík from class 4.EE was elected vice-chairperson.

Parliament has agreed that sittings shall take place on the third Wednesday of each month from 7.10, unless otherwise specified.

Class representatives were also asked to select three items from the options provided which they considered to be priorities for discussion at the next parliamentary session; they were also invited to add any issues that arise in their classes and which they consider necessary to discuss at the parliamentary session.
