Applicants take the single entrance exam at the school they listed first on their application form. The ranking of the schools does not affect the applicant's admission no effect.
What to do before the exam
Fill out affidavit of infection-free status, prepare your exam invitation and permitted aids.
On the day of the test
Arrive on time (no later than 8:15 a.m.) and with a completed and signed an affidavit of infection-free status. This declaration must be signed by a legal representative. Only applicants are allowed access to the school due to hygiene measures, without a signed affidavit the applicant cannot be present at the school!
Have 2 drapes and a bag to store them in. Candidates must keep their masks in all areas of the school, except for the test itself.
Examinations will be held in the classrooms of the SE Secondary School, candidates will be informed of their classroom by school staff at the entrance, they will collect affidavits. There has been an increase in time for both written examinations. The Czech language and literature test takes 70 minutes (10 minutes longer than the normal time). The mathematics test takes 85 minutes (15 minutes longer than the normal time).
Candidates go home at the end of the exam.
Publication of results
After the results are made available to the school, the final ranking of the candidates will be published - on the school's website and also on the school's notice board. Deadline: 16. 6. 2020in the morning hours. The results will be anonymised - it will be stated the applicant's registration number. The results will be ranked according to the points obtained for the entire admission procedure according to the criteria published on the website of the SPŠ SE. In case of equality of points, other distinguishing criteria will be used to determine a clear ranking of applicants.
Publication of the list of candidates shall be deemed to be information on acceptance as receivedThe decision on non-admission will be sent to the non-admitted pupils with an instruction on the possibility of applying for a new decision.
The applicant has been accepted and is interested in entering the SE Secondary School
The applicant's legal representative will hand in the enrolment slip to the school office. The latest date is 23. 6. 2020. The school office hours are 7:00-15:30.
An applicant has been accepted and wants to go to another school
If the applicant has been admitted to another school, he/she shall forward to 23. 6. 2020 an enrolment slip for another school.
Candidate not accepted
Given that some applicants will also be admitted to study at another school and wish to enrol at that school, applicants who finish 61st and beyond can also be expected to be admitted. Applicants may submit request for a new decision pursuant to Section 101(b) of Act No. 500/2004 Coll., the Administrative Code, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "application"). A template of the application can be found HERE. This application must be submitted by the applicant within 3 days of being notified of the decision not to accept. This period shall begin on the day following the date of delivery of the decision. The time limit shall be complied with even if the applicant lodges the application at the post office on the last day of the period.
According to Act No. 135/2020 Coll. He can't an applicant in 2020 to appeal against a decision not to be admitted appeal, but the aforementioned request for a new decision.
In order for the school principal to grant the request, the following conditions must be met:
- there is a vacancy, typically in cases where another applicant who has been admitted has not returned his/her enrolment form within the time limit or has withdrawn it, and
- an applicant who has applied for a new decision has fulfilled the admission requirements but could not be admitted due to the number of applicants.
When issuing a new decision, the head teacher must to manage the ranking of applicants according to the results of the admission procedure. Thus, it can issue a new decision only after the deadline for all applicants to apply for a new decision has passed and only after all the applications received have been collected can it make a decision (it is necessary to wait even for applications that were submitted on the last day of the deadline at the post office). In making the decision, the headmaster will always give priority to those applicants who are ranked higher in the order of.
Withdrawal of the enrolment slip
If an applicant is admitted on the basis of a new decision, the school to which he/she has already submitted his/her enrolment card shall return it to such applicant upon submission of the new decision. The applicant shall then submit the enrolment slip to the school which admitted the applicant on the basis of the new decision.
Non-attendance at the examination
If the applicant has not taken the entrance examination by the deadline 8. 6. 2020 may submit an apology to the school principal within 3 calendar days. Such a candidate will take the entrance exam in alternative date 23 June 2020. To 27. 6. 2020 the school principal will publish the results of the alternative term. In this case, the enrolment form must be submitted by 3. 7. 2020.

This year's admission examinations and admission procedures are governed by Act No.135/2020 Coll., on Special Rules for Admission to and Completion of Certain Types of Education in the 2019/2020 School Year, which was published in the Collection of Laws on 27 March 2020 under No.135/2020 Coll. The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (hereinafter referred to as "the Ministry" or "the Ministry of Education") has issued implementing legislation: decree No, on the admission procedure, the matriculation examination and the final examination in the 2019/2020 school year, which regulates the details of the procedure for the organisation and assessment of all these examinations.
