The aim of the lecture was (and is) to educate young students in the field of modern technologies such as Electromobility, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, 5G and cybersecurity. The lecturer was a student of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague, the general partner of the project is ŠKODA AUTO, a. s., the partner is ČEZ, a. s., and the expert guarantor is GasNet, s. r. o.
During the lecture, the pupils got answers to questions such as: will combustion engines disappear? Is electromobility the trend of the future? Will artificial intelligence take over? Why isn't 5G about connection speeds? What can website operators learn about us?
It was such a small surprise for the pupils that modern technology is no longer just about maths, physics and programming, but also about social sciences and ethics. Pupils had the opportunity to directly ask questions and clarify new information during the lecture. At the end of the lecture, there was a competition via Kahoot, where pupils applied their newly acquired knowledge. The lecture was free of charge.
