Lecture for 3rd EM: European Funds

The central theme of the lectures was a basic introduction to the issue of European funds and insight into the content of current operational programmes, such as OP Transport, Integrated Regional OP, OP Jan Amos Komenský, etc.

We learnt how the EU funds from the European Union reach the Czech Republic and what specific projects are currently being implemented in South Bohemia. Ing. Šimek Krejčová also described what is needed to be observed within the projects - we also learned about the concept of “publicity”.

During the lecture, it was also recommended that pupils should not hesitate to take advantage of the opportunity to travel abroad under the Erasmus+ programme, in which our school is also involved. The students had a lot of knowledge on the topic of the lecture and some of them did not hesitate to take the opportunity to express their own opinion on the EU and various aspects related to it.
