Lecture for 2.S: (Re)measured fuel prices

On 6 March 2024, a lecture on (Re)measured fuel prices was held as part of the ZSV course. Based on the Czech Economic Society's Experts to Schools project, we invited Ing. Jiří Alina, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Economics of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, who this time visited class 2.S.

The lecturer outlined the issues of economics and economics, the meaning of economics. He also focused on the economic cycle, explaining, among other things, the different concepts of "income" and "profit". The conversation with the students then turned to mortgages, fixing and interest rates today.

Despite the question "Why are you studying?" and the problem of competitiveness in the labour market, Ing. Jiří Alina, Ph.D., got to the fuel prices, their content and what can influence the prices at petrol stations.

As the pupils were very active and engaged, the lecturer had the opportunity to touch on many other economic topics, not only fuel prices.
