Lecture for 3rd SB: (Re)measured fuel prices

On 19 February 2024, a lecture on (Re)Measured Fuel Prices was held as part of the ZSV course. Based on the Czech Economic Society's Experts to Schools project, we invited Ing. Jiří Alina, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Economics of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.

The lecturer briefly introduced the concepts of economy, economics, economic cycle. He also dealt with the principles of demand and supply, the formation of market equilibrium. In the next part of the lecture Ing. Jiří Alina, Ph.D., dealt with fuel prices, especially what the prices contain and what influences them.

The lecture included questions such as "Why are you studying?" and "What advantage will you have on the job market compared to others?" The event also had an overlap with the field of motivation to learn and career guidance.

Thank you for making the lecture happen for our students!
