On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, students listened to the lecture Core for the Future I. The lecturer was Ing. Petr Závodský, CEO of ETE I (Temelín Power Plant) and EDU II (Dukovany II Power Plant). The lecture offered a glimpse into the future of nuclear power and addressed the construction of new units (including budgets). The students were then told why nuclear energy is called "clean energy" and the reasons why it is better than energy from other sources. The lecture was interesting and useful.
On Thursday, November 3, 2022, the lecture Core for the Future II continued, the speakers were Ing. Pavel Šimák, Ing. Vladimír Šula and Bc. Andrea Barboříková. Their lecture differed significantly from the previous one - it was more about the contributions of three ETE employees describing their work. For some students it seemed more like a recruitment lecture. At the end, the students were offered the possibility of scholarships.
Both lectures enriched the students both in the field of study and employment.
