Testing will take place on the 1st and 4th day of classes that week.
Students arrive 15 minutes before the start of the lesson directly to the classroom where the first lesson is to take place. They will wait for the teacher to arrive and perform the self-test according to his/her instructions. From the time they arrive at school until the result of the test is known, pupils will minimise contact with others.
Pupils will go directly to the classrooms, the cloakrooms will not be used.
If the pupil's result is positive, the pupil goes to a designated room to await the arrival of his/her parents. Mature pupils and pupils who have passed consent of the legal representatives to leave the school independently they can go home.
In the event of a positive result, the student/legal guardian will contact his/her doctor about the result.
In the case of a positive result, the entire class group is quarantined if the pupil has been a member of it for the previous 2 days (only the results on the 4th day of class are relevant). The group remains in quarantine until the positive classmate's results are confirmed by PCR test.
Students who can prove that they have had a positive PCR test result within the last 90 days are not required to be tested.
A student who did not participate in testing on the 1st or 4th day of the week will take the test upon arrival at school. Please inform the school early if a pupil will not be attending for testing and also the time the pupil will be arriving at school outside of the testing dates.
Testing does not apply to students who have received a 2nd dose of vaccine more than 2 weeks ago or have had Covid less than 90 days ago (must be documented).
Student testing is supervised by the teacher. In case of positive results, they immediately inform their doctor and the school administration. They will not attend classes until the negative PCR test result is documented.
I ask for everyone's cooperation, especially during arrival times and informing the school of medical conditions. Our aim is to open the school as soon as possible, for as long as possible and for as many pupils as possible. Therefore, we need everyone's respect and cooperation.
