Increase in the number of remedial examinations

The number of make-up dates for the didactic tests and practical examinations is adjusted and the possibility of holding these examinations additionally on an extraordinary date in the spring examination period 2021 is adjusted. These modifications compensate for the difficulties in preparation. 

Common part of the matriculation examination

  • In the normal situation, a pupil may take one regular and two make-up examinations in the common part of the matriculation examination. In view of the current exceptional situation, where pupils have been educated by distance learning for most of the school year, the number of remedial examinations is increased to three. If a person is registered for the autumn term, the number of make-up exams is also increased. The number of remedial examinations is increased only once.
  • Persons who have registered to take the didactic test at the regular time in May 2021 and have failed or failed to take the didactic test shall be allowed to take the didactic test in an extraordinary term during the spring test period 7 - 9 July 2021.

Practical exams

  • Period for holding Practical matriculation examinations in the autumn examination period 2021 is extended until 13 October 2021
  • A person who is registered to holding a practical test from 19 April 2021 to 5 August 2021 or from 6 August 2021 to 27 August 2021 the number of correction dates is increased by one correction date for each practical test for which she is registered. The number of make-up dates shall also be increased by one for each practical examination for a person who applies to take a practical examination in the autumn examination period 2021. The number of remedial examinations is increased only once. The school principal informs the students about the dates.
  • At the same time, it is necessary for the person to put in writing has applied for an extraordinary deadlineand that is within 3 working days from the date on which they failed to pass the practical test or excused themselves from taking it. Given that the examination period is ongoing, a transitional provision is laid down that a person who takes the practical test before 5 May 2021 may apply for the special date until 10 May 2021.
