About the studio

Whether you're interested in programming, energy production, the workings of robots or the future of cars, we have something for everyone! It's always a four-year full-time course of study culminating in a final exam. Every course also includes an internship. Our pupils are therefore not only educated, but also practically skilled.

Fields of study

Electromobility and alternative drives

Get an overview not only of electromobility but also of other transport alternatives (CNG, hydrogen). We combine material from mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry and computer science.

Robotics and control technology

Prepare for automation and digitalisation of operations. Learn about signal transmission. Gain knowledge in electronics, microprocessor technology, etc.

Electrical power engineering and electrical machinery

You will get information on how electricity is produced and distributed. You will meet representatives of major energy companies from the area of the Nuclear Baccalaureate at JETE or the Energy Olympiad.

Mechanical Engineering

You will learn how to design machine parts using computers and program NC machines. You will learn about engineering technologies and the construction and operation of machines.

Graduation exam

Study at the SPŠ SE České Budějovice is ending matriculation examination and thus provides a complete secondary vocational education.

Applying

Occupation/college

Graduates find employment directly v practice (e.g. Robert Bosch, spol. s r.o., ENGEL strojírenská, spol. s r. o., TSE, spol. s r. o.), or they can further study at high or higher vocational school (BUT, CTU, etc.).

Educational programme

The content of the study is determined by school education programme (ŠVP) developed in connection with the framework educational programme (RVP) issued by the National Institute of Vocational Education and approved by the MOE.

Foreign language

Professional English

Graduates' international marketability is supported during their studies teaching technical English of the field with an emphasis on current and near-future technologies (robotics, alternative sources, etc.). English language teaching also includes Conversations s a native speaker.

Being on the move

Physical education

The school provides opportunities to increase the physical fitness of pupils and to participate in additional sports activities. The educational programmes include Skicycling course.
In addition, we run a number of leisure clubs like climbing, swimming or weight training.

Youth Home

The school does not have its own dormitory, so we recommend contacting youth homes in České Budějovice. Our pupils are usually accommodated either in Holečkova Youth Home, or in Youth Home At The Whistle. Due to limited capacity, we recommend contacting the selected youth home as soon as possible.
