MF DNES wrote about our students Filip and Lukáš

Our school and the success of our students were featured in the daily MF DNES. On Monday, 25 May 2026, the South Bohemian supplement published an article dedicated to Lukáš Zdychync and Filip Adamec, who won this year's prestigious CzechSkills competition in the mechatronics category.

In the article, MF DNES presented both students not only as successful competitors, but also as young technicians who have been dedicated to their field for a long time and with great commitment. In the competition, sophomore Filip Adamec and junior Lukáš Zdychynec assembled, wired and programmed a model of a pneumatic production line in three days. Their victory in the national round also opened the way for them to represent the Czech Republic at the European Championships in Düsseldorf.

The article reminds us that students are preparing for the next competition challenge at Dukla Lab, a specialized school laboratory focused on automation and mechatronics. It is here that they have a training line where they will develop their skills and prepare for the European round of the competition in the coming months.

In the interview, the students also talked about what the school gives them. They especially appreciated the connection between theory and practice, the opportunity to work on their own projects and the facilities of the school workshops. According to them, the workshop is one of the places where they spend most of their time and where they can actually implement their ideas.

MF DNES also focused on their path to technology. Both students have been involved in technical kits, electronics and their own projects since childhood. Their interest also developed further in the radio engineering club at the House of Children and Youth, where they first met. In high school, they were then able to build on their experiences and take them further.

Success in CzechSkills is a great recognition of the school's professional teaching and long-term support of talented students. It also shows that technical education makes sense when it offers students not only knowledge but also space for creativity, independent work and real practice.

Congratulations to both Lukas and Filip and thank you for a great representation of the school. We wish them a lot of success, perseverance and joy of technique in their next preparation for the European Championships.
