Not only construction works at our school in summer 2023

During the summer holidays the reconstruction of the wiring continued, which is spread over several years, this year 2NP was implemented, including the gym. Costs were in the millions of dollars. In conjunction with the wiring work, the 2nd floor rooms were repainted and new flooring was laid in several places, costing hundreds of thousands. The work also involved changing the layout of the gymnasium to create a larger gym and structural alterations to the teachers' toilet on the 1st floor, classroom 24 and alterations to classroom 15.

A room has also been set up on the top floor of the building to be used for the needs of the School Counselling Centre, i.e. by the school psychologist, educational counsellors and the school prevention methodologist. The room was newly painted and equipped with new flooring and furniture. There are also armchairs and comfortable sitting bags.

A new telephone exchange was also set up and new telephone sets were supplied. A 3D scanner for classroom 24 and a coordinate measuring machine for classroom 15 were purchased from the CEPS grant. New whiteboards with projector were installed in classrooms 25 and 8. Classrooms 42 and 24 are now newly run as computer classrooms, and classroom 8 is now a new tribal classroom for 4th SB.

During the holidays, computers were also cleaned and reinstalled, the school data network was overhauled and data security was increased. Demolition of the annexe and repair of the sewerage system was also carried out. The new addition will be constructed by Koci between September 4, 2023 and July 31, 2024. During that time, there will be no parking in the courtyard, nor will any students or staff be able to walk across the courtyard.

A chip system was introduced on the 1st floor and in part of the workshops. Purchases for the workshops are continuously being made, and the hackspace - the woodshop - is gradually being retrofitted. The study room has been equipped with the help of the SRPS. New benches and chairs have been purchased for the 1st floor and the 1st year pupils will get overalls.
