Czech Republic Softball Championship (June 5 and 6, 2024)

On the first day we played two group matches and won both of them (with the result 17:8 and 7:2), which secured our promotion from 1st place. The second day was the elimination part. In the quarter-finals we faced the team of Gymnasium Postupická, which we defeated 10:8. In the semi-finals we met the later winner of the tournament (OA TGM Kostelec nad Orlicí), whom we narrowly lost 8:10. In the 3rd place match we faced the team of SZeŠ and SOU CHKT Kostelec nad Orlicí and won 7:6.

From the tournament we took a beautiful 3rd place. Congratulations to our team for the excellent result and thank you all for your support!

"It was a great event, a great experience and the best memories that we will never forget. We are all happy that we brought back bronze from this year's tournament. Most of the team is even more pleased with this result, because two years ago we also won bronze and we wanted to repeat the same success. We have been looking forward to this tournament all year, as it is the second time we have represented our school in this sport. That's why I think we were such a good team and enjoyed the championship all the more. Despite all the pitfalls we faced during the tournament, we coped with everything and won a beautiful 3rd place, despite the fact that there were 14 teams entered. I think I can speak for the whole team when I say that we are grateful to have been able to go to the tournament and show what we have."
