Mathematics Kangaroo 2019
On Friday 22 March 2019, a total of 34 pupils of our school participated in the Mathematical Kangaroo competition (first and second years in the Junior category, third and fourth years in the Student category).
The organizer of the competition in the Czech Republic is the Union of Czech Mathematicians and Physicists in cooperation with the Department of Mathematics of the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Prague and the Department of Algebra and Geometry of the Faculty of Physics of the University of Prague in Olomouc. The competition is international, the Czech Republic has been participating since 1995 (the first edition of the competition was held in France in 1991).
Statistical results together with the assignment of the competition tasks and the correct answers are published in the proceedings of each year, which is published by the JCMF and can be found in electronic version at website.
