E.ON Round Table - excursion of students from 1st and 2nd EM to E.ON Energie, a. s. (4 June 2024)

During the visit, the pupils had the opportunity to visit several stations where they learned about different aspects of the company's activities. First, they were introduced to the process of installing charging stations, including technical specifications, safety standards and the challenges technicians face in the field. Next, they focused on the operation and monitoring of the charging stations - learning how the company monitors the status of each station, addresses potential failures, and ensures the continuous operation and availability of charging points for EV users. Finally, the students learned about the regular maintenance and servicing of charging stations, the preventive measures taken to minimise failures and the procedures applied to repair and replace damaged components.

In addition to theoretical and practical demonstrations, the students also had the unique opportunity to ride in the different types of electric vehicles used by E.ON. This experience was very inspiring for many of them and opened up new horizons in the field of green transport.

The excursion to E.ON was very beneficial and interesting for the pupils of both classes. They had the opportunity to see with their own eyes how their studies can be applied in the real world and gained valuable information that can help them in their further education and career direction.
