Measures related to the epidemic situation:
A person who is a candidate for secondary education (hereinafter referred to as 'the candidate') shall be allowed to attend the single entrance examination in person only if
- has no symptoms of COVID-19, and
- provide evidence of a negative result before the entrance examination a non-invasive SARS-CoV-2 preventive antigen test or a non-invasive SARS-CoV-2 preventive RT-PCR test carried out at school by him or herself or by a lay person within the last 7 days before the admission examination, unless otherwise specified below.
Proof of a negative test result may be substituted by the applicant
- proof that the applicant has laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 disease and the isolation period has expired in accordance with the applicable Department of Health emergency measure and that no more than 90 days have elapsed since the first positive POC antigen test for SARS-CoV-2 or RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2,
- evidence from a healthcare provider of a negative POC antigen test for SARS-CoV-2 antigen or RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 within the last 7 days, or
- a certificate of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic on vaccination against COVID-19 if at least 14 days have passed since the second dose of the vaccine was administered in the case of a two-dose regimen according to the Summary of Product Characteristics (hereinafter referred to as "SPC"), or at least 14 days have passed since the first dose of the vaccine was administered in the case of a single-dose regimen according to the SPC.
The primary school in which the applicant is a pupil is obliged to carry out a preventive test at the school at the applicant's request and to issue a certificate of the test result.
For the reasons stated above, students must provide the supervisor with a negative test result for Covid-19 when they arrive at school. In exceptional situations, the school is able to test applicants, but we cannot guarantee that we will have enough tests or that students will be in the classroom on time. Therefore, we ask parents to arrange for their child to take the test either at the elementary school or by other means. If a pupil is tested at our school, if he/she tests positive, he/she will be given to the parents and excused from the test.
In order to avoid mixing students, we ask that the following procedure be followed:
- applicants for the Electrical Engineering major will enter the school through the main entrance from Dukelská Street
- applicants for the Mechanical Engineering major will enter the school through the back entrance from Vrchlického nábřeží
- the applicant hands over the negative Covid-19 test certificate to the lobby supervisor
- after handing over the confirmation, the candidate will go to the room where he/she will take the entrance examination
- Candidates are seated in a way that they sit alone in the bench and try to minimize contact with other candidates
- parents do not have access to the school
- for the above reasons we recommend that candidates arrive by 8:15 (test starts at 8:30)
- Candidates who do not have confirmation and wish to take the test at our school will arrive by 8:00 a.m.
- an applicant who takes the entrance exam at our school on both dates will only have to provide proof of the test result on the first date
Information on the entrance exam itself
