Excursion to the substation

On 28 November 2018, 4EB students took part in an excursion to the Sever substation. Thanks to the very interesting and informative explanation of the substation employee who accompanied us, the excursion was of an excellent standard. The students were able to review in practice everything they had learned in their vocational courses about switches, disconnectors, current and voltage measuring transformers, surge arresters, transformers, Peterson chokes, switchgear, cables, protections and safety rules at work.
