At the beginning of the excursion, the class visited the JETE exhibition located in the premises of the Renaissance castle Vysoký Hrádek. Then, after a safety briefing, the group was divided into 3 groups, which gradually, with an engaging explanation by three guides, walked through the nuclear power plant premises. Very interesting was the virtual reality experience, thanks to which we could look into places where visitors do not normally look (reactor, cooling tower...), and even climb to the very top of the cooling towers and look around the surrounding landscape from a height.
The excursion at JETE was beneficial both from a professional and professional point of view. The pupils had the opportunity to learn, among other things, what the work of operators who manage the plant from the unit control room entails and what a future operator has to go through before he/she actually gets to this position.
