Excursion to Robert Bosch, spol. s r.o. (20 February 2023)

During the five hours, the students toured a part of the plant, where they got acquainted with the technologies and processes applied in the company's competence centre. In addition to conventional material processing methods, they also saw advanced metal and plastics processing technologies used mainly in the automotive industry and their testing methods. The most interesting area for the pupils was the thermal bonding of plastics and metals. Especially the lecture on the principle of laser welding equipment and the demonstration of its operation were very interesting. The prototype of a robotic pressing and screwdriving station also attracted great interest. During the excursion we appreciated not only the interestingness of the demonstrated technologies and processes, which deepened the students' professional knowledge, but also the willingness and professional approach of the lecturers.
