Excursion to EGE, spol. s r. o. (16 February 2023)
On February 16, 2023, class 3.EB visited the company EGE, spol. s r. o., which is located near our school.
The pupils were first lent safety equipment and then listened to a lecture on the production of a continuously re-tuned extinguishing choke, which is used to compensate for ground capacitive currents in HV and VVN networks. We also learned about the countries where employees travel to install these chokes. Then we went to the practical part of the excursion - to the testing hall where the reactors are not only tested but also, for example, filled with oil in a vacuum room.
The pupils were interested to learn that the company EGE, spol. s r.o., offers a number of interesting jobs, thanks to which one can look around the world and at the same time "play" with electricity (testing the effects of fault currents).
