Dukla helps: we collected 8 380 CZK during the Feather Week 2026

On Monday, 30 March 2026, just like last year before Easter, our first year students took part in the Feather Week charity event to support the help of disadvantaged and vulnerable children. And they were successful - in total they managed to raise an amazing CZK 8,380 on the streets of České Budějovice!

The organiser of the collection is NROS (Foundation for the Development of Civil Society), which helps transform children's stories through the Help the Children project, Feather Week and Chicken Soup and thanks to its support is able to provide immediate help and long-term care to disadvantaged and vulnerable children up to the age of 18 across the Czech Republic.

SPŠ SE participated in this event for the second time. Volunteers from our 1st year students went to the streets of České Budějovice to offer passers-by feather brooches with a minimum value of 50 CZK as part of the Help the Children project.
