Short-term traineeship (12 - 25. 4. 2026)
On the basis of excellent academic results and recommendations of teachers, 13 students were selected to participate in the Erasmus+ work placement, this time in Barcelona. During this two-week internship, our students will be able to experience first-hand what it is like to work abroad. Each of them will be placed in a company relevant to their field of study, allowing them to put their theoretical knowledge into practice. In addition to the professional experience, students will broaden their horizons by encountering a new culture. Upon completion of the internship, they will receive a certificate which they can add to their Europass portfolio and increase their employability.
Shadowing of teaching staff
Three teachers will participate in the mobility together with our students:
- Ing. Bc. Lukáš Franta, Ph.D., teacher of engineering subjects
- Ing. Lubomír Krejsa, Guarantor of Robotics and Control Engineering
- Pavel Kotrlík, teacher of electrical engineering subjects
Our colleagues will be involved in shadowing at a technical high school and will also visit selected technical companies. Their aim is to get an overview of how vocational education works in Catalonia, to learn about modern approaches to teaching technical subjects, to meet innovative technology companies and to get inspiration on how to link teaching with industry practice.
Long-term traineeship (11. 6. - 10. 9. 2026)
After successfully completing their matriculation exams, two future graduates of the Electrical Engineering (4.EE) course will also go to Barcelona for a three-month internship. This placement will allow them to gain deeper and more comprehensive experience directly in the working environment of the selected technical company. By spending more time in the company, they will be able to actively participate in its daily operations and learn practical skills relevant to their future career in the electricity sector.
The Erasmus+ programme aims to give students both professional development and the chance to experience new cultures and make international contacts. We believe that this experience will be very beneficial for all participants and will support their personal and professional growth.
We wish them a successful stay and a safe return.
Details of Erasmus mobilities are available on the school's website.
