The discussion on this topic was attended by first-year students of electrical engineering on 21 February 2022. With Ing. Jiří Skalička - an expert from the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant - we discussed various energy sources (alternative energy sources; hydro, thermal and nuclear power plants, etc.) and their advantages and disadvantages. The environmental, economic and social aspects of energy were also discussed.

We are aware of the need to provide young people with objective information about energy and to inspire them to think about it and form their own opinions. We therefore consider the discussion to be very useful.
