SPŠ SE showcased its projects at the ‘Adventures with Technology’ exhibition

On Thursday 18 June 2026, our school took part in the 10th anniversary edition of the ‘Adventures with Technology’ interactive exhibition, organised by the South Bohemian Chamber of Commerce at the České Budějovice Exhibition Centre. The Secondary Technical School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering presented its polytechnic project, DuklaLabs, along with examples of students’ work in the fields of 3D printing, modelling, programming and robotics.

‘Adventures in Technology’ is one of the region’s largest events dedicated to promoting technical education. At our stand, visitors were able to view and try out demonstrations from the fields our students focus on, both in their lessons and through their own projects. We mainly showcased student projects focusing on robotics, automation, design and modern technologies.

On display were, for example, a school vending machine, a tracked chassis by Václav Janda from class 2.ER, the MultiMateriál project by Jerguš Tóth and Lukáš Zdychynec from class 3.ER, a robotic arm by Lukáš Zdychynec from class 3.ER, and the school’s six-axis arm programmed by Jan Beneš.

Taking part in this event is a valuable opportunity for our school to showcase technical education to primary school pupils and their parents. At the same time, it allows us to demonstrate that technology is not just about theory, but also about creativity, finding solutions, working with modern technologies and the joy of achieving a practical result.

We would like to thank all the students who helped to set up and run our stand for representing the school so well.
