On Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 12:00 to 15:00, 18 students of the Secondary School SE gathered to present their own creations and outputs as part of a practical project - Yearbook Theses. The presentations were divided into 4 categories - 2nd Year Mechanical Engineering, 2nd Year Electrical Engineering, 3rd Year Electrical Engineering, and in the 4th category - 3rd Year Mechanical Engineering - the school's gearbox projects were presented. The jury consisted of all company representatives and the school principal.
The students always presented their work in a presentation, where they focused, among other things, on the choice of the topic, their own elaboration, the possibilities of improvement, but also on the problems they encountered during the elaboration. Afterwards, the representatives of the companies or the principal asked the presenters several questions. At the end of the presentations of one category, each judge wrote down his/her preference ranking. By tallying the ballots, a very objective ranking of the winners was created.
At the end of the event, company representatives highlighted the benefits of the year-long work - it is very interesting to see potential employees and their great interest in the field. The skill of presenting in front of an audience was highly appreciated.
