Our first chosen competition topic was an Autonomous Vehicle, which had to navigate a maze in the shortest possible time using ultrasonic sensors. The second theme was a Trampoline controlled by coloured markers on the track, which was a similar challenge but the sensors this time were infrared.
The bowing started at 9:30 and ended at 15:00. The teams worked hard and with maximum effort, the well-chosen composition of the competitors had a positive effect. We managed to put together mechanics, electronics and "software engineers". This resulted in excellent results - the Autonomous Vehicle project came in 2nd place and the Strider controlled by coloured markers on the track came in 3rd place.
After the results were announced, the traditional banquet was held. Transportation there and back went smoothly.
Thank you to all participants (Lucie Beránková, Radim Barták, Jáchym Cirhan, Martin Felenda, Matěj Kopeček, Denis Majrich and Miroslav Sojka) for representing our school!
