This is a running series to support the Zoo. The interested party registers, chooses a route - running, hiking or cross-country skiing, chooses the amount of the entry fee, i.e. their voluntary contribution, or adds an interest in a medal. Then, with a watch/app on his/her mobile phone, he/she will run/walk the route he/she has chosen within the set time. Each at a different time and place, without increased epidemiological risk.
Within the registration for the school, you need to add the "club", so we can easily generate how many of us participated in the race from SPŠSE, what distance, time, points we gave together. More information on registration, including the name of the club, will still be emailed to students and staff.
The race takes place from Wednesday to Sunday at the end of the month, the February one is from 24th February to 28th February 2021: https://www.behamespolu.cz/hratky-s-lachtany/. The next ones will take place again at the end of March, April and May.
Of course, we also ask everyone who takes part in the race to observe the epidemiological measures currently in force and to stay at home if they feel unwell. This is not an organised race, everyone participates at their own risk as part of their personal outdoor physical activity, at any time on the above mentioned days.

On 24-28 February 2021, students and staff of our school had the opportunity to participate in ZOO Run No. 9 - playing with sea lions. This was the first involvement of SPŠSE in this project. The next one will follow, if the epidemiological situation permits, again in a month.
During registration, in addition to choosing the amount of their charitable contribution, participants also entered the club "SPSSECB Dukelska".
And how did our team do? Excellent! We finished in a beautiful 3rd place! We had 23 members participating, together we ran/walked 176 km and spent more than 27 hours on our individual courses. The longest route was chosen by Zdeněk Šantrůček from the 2nd year, who ran 21 km.
We thank all the participating students, faculty and non-teaching staff. We appreciate that in the name of SPŠSE Dukelská they ran/stayed on the track and joined the support of the ZOO and sea lion breeding. The most important thing is the actual involvement in this event. The third place for the teams is certainly pleasing, but the fact that individuals participated is the most! We hope to meet again next month on the imaginary route - and maybe in even greater numbers!

The next part of the running series is here! This time we have the opportunity to support the zoo, which is only a few kilometers away from our school - ZOO HLUBOKÁ!

Then he/she just runs/walks the route he/she has chosen with the watch/app on his/her mobile phone at the set time. Each at a different time and place, without increased epidemiological risk.
As part of the registration for the school, you must also add "club", whose name reads "SPSSECB Dukelska" (no hack, no care).

We hope that as many of us from SPŠSE will participate as possible! What distance will we cover together this time? Will we defend the 3rd place we won last time in the team competition?

From 24 March to 5 April 2021, the 10th part of the virtual running series ZOO Run took place, which we as a school decided to participate in last time. At https://www.behamespolu.cz/list/slavime-s-medvedy/ the results list is available.
How did we do, you ask? We had the same number of participants from the school this time 50! In the last race we for SPŠSE Dukelská ranked 3rd, now already in the SECOND place! Will we be first next time?
Some of them even took the top places, in different categories we took 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and other places. Together we covered a beautiful 331 km. The runners and walkers can already download their diplomas, while others may be inspired by looking at the results list and register for the "SPSSECB Dukla" for the next race, which will take place on 23 April - 2 May 2021.

On Friday, April 23, 2021, a new episode of the virtual running series ZOO Running starts.
As in the last two races, you can register online at https://www.behamespolu.cz. When running or walking for our school, don't forget to enter "SPSSECB Dukelska" (no hacks, no cares) in the club name.
Once again, in addition to a voluntary contribution, which this time goes to the lions and cats in the Štít Biopark, you can also choose a route of varying length in three categories (RUNNING - HIKING - CANICROSS).
Last time we were second in the team competition. How will we do now? How many kilometers will we cover together? Will there be more than 50 of us? And will the die-hard non-athletes join in this time?
Registrations are already open: https://www.behamespolu.cz/lvi-lvice/, the race itself will be held again in individual form in the time frame of 23 April - 2 May 2021.
On May 2, 2021, the 11th race of the ZOO Run series ended, thanks to which some of our students, staff, as well as their partners, parents and other relatives supported the lions and felines from the Štít Biopark.
The team "SPSSECB Dukelska" took a nice 3rd place in the team ranking. We participated in a total of 34 disciplines, in which we ran/eared 216 km. We spent more than 41 and a half hours on our routes, which is also the longest time spent together within the teams.
For our school, the busiest category was the 13km hiking, which was attended by 8 people.
And running? The competitors who ran for SPŠSE Dukelská often placed very high in their categories. To name a few:
- 1st place in the 2 km run (Z21-30): Bicanová Adéla,
- 1st place in the 10 km race (M51-60): Bican Tomáš,
- 2nd place in the 2 km race (M31-40): Požárek Petr,
- 2nd place in the 5 km race (M15-20): Kříž Marcel,
- 3rd place in the 21 km race (M41-50): Štěrbík Jan.
Congratulations to the above mentioned! At the same time, we would like to thank everyone who participated in the charity event Běhámespol.cz with SPŠSE Dukelská.

From the currently offered routes, you will surely choose an enthusiastic athlete and a chronic lazy person - running 3 km, 6 km, 9 km, 13 km and 19 km, hiking 3 km, 9 km, 13 km, canicross, special categories for children.

Fourth ZOO run with SPŠSE Dukelská
On 6 June 2021 the twelfth ZOO Run ended, i.e. another charity race in support of ZOOs in the Czech Republic with Běhámespolu.cz. For our school it was the fourth and also the last pre-holiday run in which it participated in the project "Dukla helps".
Some of us in support of the hippos bet on hiking, others on running. And in running we have our favourites this time too. My colleague Jan Štěrbík won 2nd place overall for the 19 km run and in his category M41-50 he is the absolute winner. In the M15-20 category Radek Kofroň from the 3rd year took the first place in the 3 km run. In the 19 km run, our student David Hercog from the 2nd year was the only one who competed in his category M15-20 and he took a nice 14th place overall in a strong competition of experienced runners. Congratulations to everyone and thank you to others who participated and supported the ZOO together with us!

Another of the charity races, which we support at SPŠ SE within the Dukla Helps project, took place in September this year.
It was again possible to run your race or plan a hiking trip anytime and anywhere between FRI 10 Sep - TU 28 Sep 2021 (https://zoobeh.cz/sloni/).
Our club "SPSSECB Dukelska" took 3rd place in the team competition. In total, the participants competing for SPŠ SE covered a distance of 46 km. More important than the placement itself, however, was the fact that together we helped another zoo with our voluntary contributions and also supported elephant breeding in the Czech Republic.
Until 8 May 2022, it was possible to participate in another of the ZOO runs, this time in support of otters from the Hluboká Zoo.
As part of Dukla Helps we covered 53 km together and spent a little over 5 hours running or walking. Overall, we took fourth place in the team competition with the SPSSECB Dukelska team.
In addition to the already expected success of my colleague Jan Štěrbík, who won an excellent 1st place in the 20 km run, the 4th year student Radek Kofroň was very successful, who took twice 1st place overall (3 km run, 6 km run) and once 1st place in his age category (9 km run). Radek Kofroň also participated in the most disciplines, for which he deserves great praise!
