Involvement of a practitioner (Templates II)
As part of the project Involving a practitioner, lectures by Mr Jiří Vyhnal on energy security and warehouse management in the energy sector were held in the 3rd and 4th grades.
The students learned about the way of ensuring the operability of the energy network in terms of material supply. The specifics of storage of different types of electrical material and the problems of handling this material, e.g. when using cable rewinders, were not omitted. An interesting part of the presentation was also the part devoted to theft of power equipment and related security. Furthermore, students were introduced to new trends in the energy sector and the issues of renewable energy and electromobility (in the context of peak power requirements and the risk of blackout) were discussed.
The lectures took place within the framework of the Template II project (Teacher training and improving the quality of teaching at SPŠ SE Dukelská 13, České Budějovice II, CZ.02.3.68/0.0/0.0/18_065/0016225).
