The exhibition describes significant themes of 1989. The word "scraps" refers to the memories of specific witnesses who experienced the revolutionary events of that year. It is a project of the non-profit organisation Post Bellum, offered as part of the Velvet at Schools project.
Our students can view and read the posters anytime during breaks. In addition, if one of your classmates has a mobile device with an iOS operating system, they can arrange with others and together use the elements of augmented reality, i.e., with the help of the Festival of Freedom app, they can point their mobile phones at individual photographs and watch, for example, footage from the National Avenue or the stories of witnesses.
But the posters will certainly be useful in their own right - they will certainly hang in the corridor until at least the end of November.
We also recommend documentaries and films from Seznam.cz (Famous Days) and JSNS on the current topic, some of which the students have already become familiar with as part of their ZSV lessons (e.g. the film 1989: From Letters Written Across the Iron Curtain).
