A total of 40 pupils expressed interest in the class focused on technical education, of which 26 children were accepted after a thorough selection process. The entrance exams were held at the SPŠSE premises and had three parts: a mathematics test, a cognitive test on the world of technology and a practical construction task.
In the practical part, the students created a bridge structure from the given materials, which had to bridge the distance between the benches (30-60 cm) and carry a PET bottle with water. Emphasis was placed on functionality, technical design and economical use of materials.

The Technical Primary School project aims to motivate young pupils to develop a deeper interest in technical fields at primary school level. We have taken the first step and we are looking forward to September when the new class sits in the classroom for the first time!
