Snippets from Erasmus - Dublin (for the fourth time)

Students of the fourth year, Ondřej Nebeský (4.EE) and Marek Švarc (4.ER), completed their professional practice in Dublin within the Erasmus+ programme. During two weeks they worked in a company focused on security technologies, where they were actively involved (mostly in the field) in the normal work activities of technicians.

The scope of their work included preparing cabling, crimping connectors, wiring and interconnecting components of alarm systems, fire protection systems, house telephones and videophones, access terminals and door systems. Students learned how to work with different types of equipment and learned practical wiring skills.

Part of the practice was also testing and regular validation of smoke detectors within the framework of fire protection, which took place under the supervision of a technician from a certified company. This experience allowed them to see the importance of accuracy, safety and compliance with standards in real operation.

Ondřej and Marek took away not only new professional knowledge but also valuable experience from the international working environment.

Thank you for your exemplary representation of the school!
