High School Athletic Cup on Sokol Island

On 17 September 2025, the Secondary School Athletic Cup took place on Sokol Island in České Budějovice. Our school was represented by two teams - a boys' team consisting of 12 competitors and a girls' team consisting of 4 competitors.

Our school was represented by:

a team of girls: Eliška Kolouchová, Denisa Davies, Afina Golykova, Karolína Kovářová,
a team of guys: Vladislav Doroshenko, Pavel Kučera, Matěj Franěk, Tomáš Jiřík, Martin Rek, Filip Koutenský, Karl Toman, Otakar Müller, Richard Valík, Jan Kubák, Vojtěch Teringl and Adam Plánek.

Although our representatives fought for the school team, we must highlight the best performances up to 3rd place: Jan Kubák - 1st place in 400 m, 2nd place in 100 m,🥇🥈/ Vojtěch Teringl - 1st place in 1500 m / Adam Plánek - 1st place in high jump🥇.

We recorded the following team results:

- Boys scored 7386 points and took the beautiful 3rd place.

- The girls finished in 9th place.

The whole day was in the spirit of sport, team spirit and fair play. On the track we supported each other, cheered each other on and tried to do our best. It was great to see the camaraderie and support between the classes - many of us got to know each other better and new friendships were formed as a result. The atmosphere was really great, everyone was working hard and playing fair at the same time. The results showed that it paid off. We are already looking forward to next year when we will represent our school again. And we will definitely want to surpass our performance this year as well.
