The tour of the school was carried out by the school management, in the workshops by the workshop manager Mgr. Lavička.
The teachers visited the new premises of the extension, the spacious assembly room and lecture hall, professional laboratories, admired the modern equipment of the classrooms, as well as the chip and camera system in the school premises. Colleagues from Vimperk were also impressed by the combination of the historical character of the school with the modern concept of teaching and school equipment. During the visit to the electrical measurement classroom and the school's student project DuklaLabs, there was also a mutual exchange of experience with colleagues Ing. Růžička and Petrášek, who were present in the classrooms at the time.
The greatest interest on the part of the visitors was in the connection between theory and practice, cooperation with companies in the region and with universities throughout the Czech Republic, involvement in projects and the drawing of subsidies, the Technical Olympiad and cooperation with the Dukelská Primary School.
We are glad that our work has resonance in the wider region and that we are an inspiration to other colleagues and schools.
