Sports trip for 1st graders (30 May-1 June and 6-8 June)
From 30 May to 1 June, classes 1.EB and 1.SA went on a sports trip. A week later (6-8 June), the same trip was taken by the students of 1.EA and 1.SB.
Accommodation for about 60 pupils was provided in Stary Dobrkovice in the Fox camp, which is located between Český Krumlov and Kájov.
We went to Kájov by train and we were far from alone. Other schools also took advantage of the nice weather for school events. The journey from České Budějovice took less than an hour. Then we walked to the FOX camp 4 kilometres away. We stayed in cabins and tents and then hiked to Klet'. The hike was challenging, but the students enjoyed it. On the first day we walked over 20 km. After returning to the campsite, we roasted sausages on the fire and jumped on the big inflatable bubble until dark.
On the second day, the convention was on the agenda Vltava River from Český Krumlov to Zlatá Koruna on six-seater rafts. Some of the students were on rafts for the very first time, others were experienced rafters. In the evening the pupils played badminton, football and basketball and again jumped on the inflatable bubble. In the evening, meat and hamburgers were grilled.
The last morning we again devoted to sports (football, badminton, frisbee) and then we moved back to České Budějovice. Both trips were very successful!
