Sports Day in Stromovka (21 June 2022)

The preparation was thorough. Nine of our teachers were preparing ten different sports stations from 7:00 am. At 8:00 the pupils of each class accompanied by their teachers left the school, the event itself started at 8:30. Badminton, ultimate frisbee, disc golf, streetball, soccer, football, volleyball, orienteering, athletic power trials (medicine ball throw, high jump, sprint uphill for time) and tug of war were on the agenda.

The weather was good and we had the Stromovka park all to ourselves, which were ideal conditions for excellent performances. It was our first experience with such a big event, but thanks to the great cooperation of all the participating colleagues, everything went well. We were delighted that every student found a movement they enjoyed.

At 10:45 the points started to be counted and the results were announced. The 1st place went to the pupils of class 2.EA under the guidance of their class teacher Ludmila Petržalová. The silver place was taken by the pupils of 2.SA (class teacher Mirka Kováříková), who missed the first place only by one point. The third place was shared by two classes with the same number of points - 1.EA (class teacher Petr Požárek) and 1.SB (class teacher Petr Kroupa).
